Her greatest fame is her role in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air's sitcom Ashley Banks. At age four, she began singing and was soon able to earn some recognition through her mother's request to send her to Sesame Street auditions. In 1985, when she was 6-year-old, she began her acting career as a regular on the PBS children's education program Sesame Street. She continued her acting career throughout New York City with many productions that included Fences which was a Broadway production, and Orfeo del Campo, an off-Broadway production. At seven, she won Star Search. She received the rating of four stars when she performed for another time.
