Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist who has a unique style. Baker was born April 22 1990, in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents are missionaries. In his early years the Bakers traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker along with his father moved to Denver in the United States, and they stayed at the house of his father's Aunt. Baker was a target of bullying because the poorness of his life by the other kids. The first time Baker heard of hip-hop was as he began sixth grade. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. He is known for fusing hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock in his music compositions. Baker produced four mixtapes before joining Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. Delivering lyrics with the speed of a bullet train this Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric growth in the second half of 2011, when Baker made the switch from releasing self-released mixtapes and then signing on reputable label. The following years saw every album he released charted at number 10.
